Anani Klutse is the Founder and President of Melkios, a specialty risk and capital structure advisory firm. He works with corporates and financial institutions to deploy surety, trade credit, and specialty insurance as capital markets instruments, structuring solutions that enhance liquidity, strengthen credit profiles, and de-risk execution on complex transactions.
Anani holds a Master of Applied Science in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Paris XII and an MBA from IONIS Management School of Paris, with a double major in Financial Engineering and Technology. He began his career in investment banking in Europe before leading corporate lending and structured trade finance mandates in North America at Export Development Canada (EDC) and ATB Financial, where he structured credit and collateral for lenders and sponsors on cross-border transactions.
His practice spans export credit agency (ECA) programs, corporate finance, international trade instruments, cross-border M&A, offshore structures, and specialty risk transfer including surety and surety reinsurance. The discipline across this work is consistent: converting complex credit and performance risk into bankable, capital-efficient structures that reduce exposure, release capacity, and move global transactions to close.
